A tweak to one of the silhouette’s inaugural colorways, the forthcoming pair blends heritage with Internet-age design. The titular off-white hue takes over most of the lightweight upper, even extending itself onto the exposed foam inner lining. As with Abloh’s first Jordan 5 collaboration, the Rockford, Illinois-native’s second interpretation of the 30-year-old model features see-through, circular accents along the profiles, as well as a circular punch-out on the left shoe’s reflective tongue. Elsewhere, medial mesh guards boast Off-White’s signature “Black” Helvetica text, while Jordan Brand-specific branding across the rear nod to the “Fire Red” colorway’s original arrangement. Underfoot, sole units appear treated for a vintage aesthetic; golden, semi-translucent zip-ties round out each pair.
